The shrimp tacos were very tasty and carne asada flavorful and a significant portion! This will be my go to for Mexican food in Shelton!

Probably the best Mexican food you can get in Shelton or even Olympia. Reminds me of what you can get in California, it's that good. Their carnitas are the best thing on the menu. Deep fried pork love!

This was my first time in a commercial area of Shelton on my 1st trip, we tried Home Meat Service, which was in a residential area. I'll just say this, it was interesting, I felt like I was in the town from Rambo. Small town with a lot of independent business. There was no shortage of taco trucks and there was also a full-service restaurant, that had far less reviews, so we decided to check this place out. I was skeptical, because Taqueria tends to be low quality and like teriyaki places, all items taste the same despite the name on the door. The guy was really friendly, but he didn't speak English. I asked a coupe questions, but it was clear he didn't understand me. Since it wasn't a complicated transaction, I ultimately gave him the number of the meal I wanted and he prepared them for us. Pricing was a bit ambitious, but when the food came, it wasn't on a plate, it was on a platter. It was massive and I knew I wasn't going to finish mine and despite giving a pigout my best try, I only got through half of the food. So, let's back up, they brought chips and salsa. I didn't like the table salsa, it was really tart and had no salt. Even with salt, it was just to bitter for me, I asked for hot sauces and was provided two, one red, one green. The red was smokey and delicious. The green was also delicious, but a bit more mild and certainly a slow burn. Both tasted good on chips and complimented the meal. If this place was local, I might be a once a week guy. I'd certainly try other items. A better salsa would raise the game, but I was impressed with what I got for the price and although I understand they have raised pricing according to reviews, I've paid more for a lot less, so I am going to bless these guys with 5 Stars.

This place was so delicious. We are new to the area and wanted to find a great Mexican restaurant. This is it!! If you run warm, there's outdoor seating. Looking forward to many more meals here. Oh and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

10 years later and it is STILL my "Go To" restaurant here in Shelton. The food is always outstanding. The staff are always friendly. The price is always fair. My kids absolutely LOVE going to dinner at Las Palmas. If I lived closer than what I do, I'd probably eat there every day; yes, it's that good. It feels like home. If I could rate it higher, I would.

It was a toss-up between burgers and Mexican food. Las Palmas was well rated and we hadn't been here yet. We were impressed, not a great look from the parking lot, but obviously the locals like it. Our Enchiladas and Carnitas plate were ready quickly, they were served hot and we got extra salsa - everything was tasty and the servings were large. We'll be back here when we come through town.

I had a torta al pastor. It was about as good as a torta can be. Prices are fair for what you get (good portions). Service is friendly and prompt. This is real Mexican food served here. Do not be put off by the location or the outside appearance. It will be worth it This is another place I need to thank all the Yelpers out there for. I would never go into a place like this from the looks outside but wowza! I will stop by here anytime I am passing through and you should too.

Great Mexican food that is not Americanized. Fast service. Low key ambiance- hey, I'm here for the food based on recommendation from local PD. Had the carne asada Torta (#3) with a bottle if Mexican Coke. Chips and a green sauce disappeared very quickly. Will come back

The food is spot on. The salsa they served is really good, not too hot, with warm chips. Prices are about average these days which means more than they used to be last year. I went for the enchiladas verde, they were about as good as I've ever had. Service was prompt and we didn't wait long for the food. The place is clean and comfortable. The wife went for a wet burrito and she loved it even if she couldn't quite finish it. Highly recommend, we'll be back.
